Customer Services Representative - Remote
We are seeking meticulous and customer-focused Remote Customer Service & Verification Specialists for full-time positions. This is not a typical customer service role. You are the final, crucial step in the customer acquisition process. Your primary responsibility is to act as an impartial third party, verifying the details of a sale to ensure it is compliant, accurate, and fully understood by the customer. Additionally, you will handle inbound calls from highly-interested customers to guide them through the final steps of the sales process.

- Detailed Responsibilities
- Third-Party Verification (TPV):
- Initiate and receive TPV calls to/from new customers who have just agreed to sign up for internet or energy services.
- Adhere strictly to provided scripts and verification workflows to confirm customer identity, service details, pricing, and agreement to terms.
- Operate with a high degree of accuracy to ensure 100% compliance with all federal, state, and client-specific regulations.
- Clearly and patiently articulate complex terms and conditions, ensuring the customer fully understands their new service agreement.
- Inbound Sales Support:
- Receive warm inbound transfers and calls from customers ready to complete their purchase.
- Utilize a consultative, professional approach to guide customers through the final application and order submission process.
- Accurately input customer information, service selections, and payment details into secure partner portals and our CRM.
- Overcome any final hesitations by reinforcing the value of the service and ensuring a smooth, positive onboarding experience.
- General Duties:
- Meticulously document every interaction, call outcome, and verification status in real-time.
- Navigate multiple systems, including CRM software, partner portals, and internal communication tools, with speed and efficiency.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive customer information (e.g., Social Security Numbers, credit card details).
- Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including call handle time, verification accuracy, quality assurance scores, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with team leaders and quality assurance coaches to continuously improve performance and processes.
- Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate
- Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer service, call center, retail).
- Highly Preferred Experience: Previous experience in third-party verification (TPV), compliance, quality assurance, financial services, or telecommunications sales is strongly preferred.
- Verbal Acuity: An exceptionally clear, articulate, and professional speaking voice with a neutral accent. The ability to speak at a measured pace is essential.
- Extreme Attention to Detail: A proven track record of accuracy and a detail-oriented mindset. You are someone who reads the fine print and values precision.
- Unwavering Integrity: Must be a highly ethical and trustworthy individual, capable of handling confidential data with the utmost care and responsibility.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including a minimum typing speed of 45 WPM, and proficiency with web browsers and standard office software. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Home Office Requirements: A private, secure, and quiet workspace free from background noise and distractions. A reliable, high-speed internet connection via a hardwired Ethernet cable is a firm requirement (Wi-Fi is not permitted for this role).
