About the position


The Sr. Coordinator - Inventory at Energy Transfer is a pivotal role responsible for managing inventory materials at the Midland, Texas warehouse and assisting with inventory management at various remote warehouse locations. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels at assigned locations, which involves direct interaction with Operations personnel and vendors. The coordinator is tasked with coordinating repairs for repairable parts and requisitioning new parts when repairs are not feasible. Additionally, the role encompasses managing capital project materials staging, logistics tasks, and providing shipping, receiving, and expediting support to Procurement and Engineering staff as required. The Sr. Coordinator is expected to follow all safety procedures diligently and work in a safe manner at all times. This includes coordinating with Operations and Procurement to ensure adherence to Materials Management Guidelines. The coordinator will work closely with these teams to set appropriate inventory levels to accommodate upcoming projects and will be responsible for obtaining vendor quotes for inventory replenishment orders as needed. Furthermore, the role involves resolving shipping discrepancies and damages in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics, as well as providing suitable replacement materials in emergency situations. In addition to these responsibilities, the coordinator will analyze surplus inventory to determine usage levels and conditions, ensure that inventory is maintained in a usable condition, and prepare materials for long-term storage. The position also requires submitting material transfers for processing, generating inventory requisitions into SAP-MM, and participating in an on-call schedule to support after-hours call outs. The coordinator will assist with managing daily warehouse operations and provide heavy manual labor, including loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers using hand trucks, dollies, or forklifts as necessary. The role also includes providing SAP requisitioning training and support as needed.

Requirements




  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ,

  • 2+ years of related experience in inventory, warehousing, or procurement.
  • ,

  • Ability to work autonomously and handle changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • ,

  • Knowledge of gas pipeline and/or compression related materials.

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP-MM.
