Job Overview

As a Seasonal Data Entry Associate/Order Blaster at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering large business orders and updating spreadsheet information. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, process a high volume of orders, and develop your skills in data entry, communication, and problem-solving. Our ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and be able to communicate effectively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming Excel (Macro and Non-Macro) orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Format Excel orders as needed, using your knowledge of Excel formulas and functions to streamline processes.
  • Set up Profiles for all Excel orders, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
  • Process incoming paper orders from both Consumer and Business Gift Division in a timely manner, meeting demanding deadlines and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Process incoming Treasury Batch orders efficiently, meeting deadlines for Treasury and maintaining high levels of productivity.
  • Execute Customer Gift History lists, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Enter Catalog requests and address changes, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Manage incoming communications in a prompt, efficient, timely, and professional manner, meeting all accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Monitor and maintain business and product knowledge information by utilizing all available resources, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Process Special Projects for various departments throughout blithequark, demonstrating your ability to adapt to new challenges and priorities.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 6 months of data entry experience, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Medium to advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, functions, and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, meeting the demands of the Business Gift Division and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • A typing speed of 35 wpm, with excellent spelling and grammar skills.
  • Proven knowledge of navigation of a computer, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently.

Technical Requirements

To perform this role, you will need to have:

  • A reliable computer with a Windows 10 operating system, 8 Gigabytes of RAM, and 50GB available space on your Hard Drive.
  • A stable internet connection with a download speed of 5mbs and an upload speed of 3mbs (preferable a wired connection NOT wireless).
  • A current IOS or Windows 10 OS, with an 8th-10th Gen Intel or AMD Ryzen CPU (if you bought your pc/laptop in the last 2 years the CPU is most likely comparable to these suggestions).

Preferred Technical Specifications

While not essential, the following technical specifications are preferred:

  • A download speed of over 100mbs and an upload speed of 10+mbs (with a wired connection NOT wireless).
  • A computer with 8-32 Gigabytes of RAM and 50GB available space on your Hard Drive.
  • A Windows 10 operating system, with the latest updates and security patches installed.
