- Performing audits of submitted data entries and providing feedback to team members
- Facilitating corrections to incorrect data entry when applicable
- Reviewing system-generated reports to identify potential errors or discrepancies
- Generating and running reports to verify, correct, and update information
- Escalating challenging data entry problems or issues to management
- Adhering to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of data entry experience in a corporate or business setting, managed healthcare, hospital, or insurance environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in data collection and entry, and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
- Solid data management experience, preferably within managed care, referral management, patient appointing, and/or patient administration functions
- Solid data mining, analytical, and reporting skills
