Job Overview
The primary focus of this position is to manage and oversee the execution of major sponsorship programs sold within our network. As a Project Manager - Sales Ops, you will be responsible for executing premium content programs, including content sponsorships and branded content, from conception to completion. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of these programs, meeting client expectations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute premium content programs, including content sponsorships and branded content, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including account management, sales, ad ops, editorial, video, product, and client solutions teams, to ensure seamless program execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for program-related matters, including meeting agendas, conference calls, emails, and written status reports.
- Identify and implement successful strategies and practices to mitigate challenges and obstacles, ensuring the effective and efficient management of content programs.
- Track individual and aggregate campaign performance to inform successful strategies for renewing programs and new business development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to set up campaigns using internal systems, promotional ad units, and maintain campaigns throughout their life cycle.
- Provide regular status reports and program summaries to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media and/or multi-media, ideally in a collaborative role within a complex multi-media organization.
- A college degree in a relevant field, such as communications, marketing, or business administration.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven experience in directly managing clients.
- A highly collaborative style, with the ability to influence multiple internal teams to drive towards completion of tasks.
