Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Remote Principal Data Scientist to spearhead our analytical agenda and drive high‑impact, data‑centric solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modeling within financial services, fintech, or related industries, with a strong focus on credit risk, fraud detection, marketing analytics, or operations optimization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Python (including libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch), SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and statistical packages (R, SAS, or similar).
  • Modeling Expertise: Proven track record designing, validating, and deploying production‑grade predictive models, including regression, classification, clustering, and time‑series forecasting.
