Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team as a Work From Home opportunity. As a key member of our Inventory Network and Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • 30% Execution of existing reporting and analytical tasks: You will be responsible for executing existing reporting and analytical tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • 20% Development of new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests: You will use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests, providing insights to drive business growth.
  • 20% Quality assurance and process improvement: You will ensure the quality of work output, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • 20% Skill development and knowledge sharing: You will foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the team, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • 10% Presentation of findings and insights: You will present findings and insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner, focusing on how the data analysis contributes to the overall business strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluation, or forecasting, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks, with experience in data visualization tools and statistical software.
  • Domain expertise: Previous experience in investigating significant topics, such as store network, marketing, or operations, with a strong understanding of business operations and processes.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field: A master's degree in a quantitative field, such as Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Advanced data analysis skills: Experience with advanced data analysis techniques, such as machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, processes, and strategies, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills: Previous experience in leading projects, teams, or initiatives, with a strong track record of delivering results and driving growth.
