We work closely with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value. Our team is passionate about using data to tell stories and create new insights, and we are looking for talented engineers to join us on this journey. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and support our cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and architectures that support our business operations. You will work closely with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines and architectures that support our business operations * Collaborate with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client and Innovation, and other teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value * Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab * Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS * Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to support data pipeline operations * Collaborate with our colleagues to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives * Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base to support data engineering operations **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support * Demonstrated expertise in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) * Experience with creating in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization/development * Experience creating and maintaining automated workflow schedulers * Strong understanding of data set design and capability **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with large datasets and large data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS * Experience managing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub * Experience using Docker **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team of data engineers * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and talented data engineer looking for a new challenge, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
