Job Responsibilities

The Full Stack Distribution Center Manager will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in managing teams, driving results, and defining industry standards. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Executing the field-tested strategy for the area of responsibility by imparting objectives and overseeing staffing and planning, delegating tasks, and organizing responsibilities to achieve business objectives (e.g., production, quality, and safety).
  • Screening and overseeing the efficiency of the area of responsibility by planning, investigating, and analyzing business reports.
  • Keeping up with quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring partners are trained on Coordinated factors and company policies, principles, and systems; checking partner compliance to strategies and methodology; disseminating and maintaining techniques and supporting documentation.
  • Recognizing partner, client, and provider concerns by listening, and talking with others when required to decide remedial action to initiate or make proposals to determine.
  • Regulating and fostering partners and leaders in the area of responsibility by delegating tasks and organizing responsibilities, checking performance and providing feedback; educating, supporting, and displaying Coordinated operations and company strategies and systems; recognizing training and development needs; and participating in the recruiting, development, training, instructing, and assessment of partners and leaders.
  • Handling the investigation of system applications by working on system issue resolutions with Data Systems Division (ISD) and vendors; and supporting the ongoing development of current and future system applications.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Business, Data Systems, or related field and 1-year of administrative experience OR Four-year degree in Business, Data Systems, or related fields OR long-term Walmart experience in a Data Systems climate maintaining and investigating computer systems (e.g., networks, computer equipment, and software) OR 2 years Data Systems related administrative experience OR 2 years experience in a Data Systems climate maintaining and investigating computer systems (e.g., networks, computer equipment, and software).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business, Distribution, Transportation Center Management, Data Systems, Microsoft Office, Managing Partners, Walmart Planned operations Systems
