As a remote-friendly company, we value flexibility, collaboration, and continuous learning, offering our employees a unique opportunity to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments, you will be responsible for: * Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents * Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity * Executing analysis of complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications * Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile * Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce * Interacting with and embodying blithequark's standards in daily connections with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners **Duties Analysis** * Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests * Identifying and addressing Client/Advisor account exceptions * Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) * Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks * Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies * Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and correcting tax coding errors * Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns * Identifying the root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc. * Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management * Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm * Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues * Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Alternate Investments * Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) * Familiarity with tax coding and reconciliation * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) * Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist, Certified Reconciliation Specialist) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly * Familiarity with cloud-based applications and remote work tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Drive) **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
