Your Role
As a Customer Success Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our Borrower Success Team, working directly with student loan borrowers to help them navigate our tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will rapidly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the primary point of contact for our users.
This is a remote, full-time contractor role for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in NYC based on performance and company needs. As a Customer Success Associate, you will report to the Head of Borrower Success and collaborate with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of blithequark's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, enabling you to provide personalized support and guidance.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, responding to inquiries, and providing empathetic support to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Application Review and Submission: Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Innovation and Process Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement ideas and automations that can help scale the team, streamline processes, and enhance the overall borrower experience.
- Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, driving the development of new features and offerings that meet borrowers' needs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with blithequark's social mission and values.
Recommended Experience
We are seeking talented professionals with at least one year of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is highly valued.
