About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to join our team in building the first business-centric content platform on the internet. As a Knowledge and Information Manager, you will play a critical role in managing content on our platform, ensuring its appropriate classification, and maintaining the granularity and integrity of our industry hierarchy taxonomies. You will work closely with our Research & Content Team, providing feedback, assistance, and training to team members as needed. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our platform, and we're excited to offer a unique opportunity for a servant leader to guide our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Content and Industry Hierarchy Taxonomies on the platform to ensure maximum breadth, granularity, and accuracy
 - Assisting in timely onboarding and classifying of content from new platform users
 - Auditing the compliance of our content to ensure alignment with our policies
 - Collaborating with the AI Team to train our model to automatically extract metadata and classify content
 - Assisting the Product Team in determining requirements of new platform features
 - Assisting Sales and Marketing by recording platform demo videos
 - Assisting in Recruiting and Training new team members
 - Participating in group meetings, collaborating on team projects, and meeting with individual team members
 - Thinking outside the box on how to add value to the platform and brainstorming with the team on how to further improve and expand on our methodology
 - Once the Research and Content Team grows large enough to split between Content and Research, managing one of these two teams

Corporate Culture
We believe in flexibility and offer a hybrid role that lets you balance your time between our remote office and home. We respect and value our team members and are looking for a servant leader to do the same. Our training program is designed to ensure your success, starting with a 2-week overview of our methodology, syntax, tools, and platform, followed by a 4-week intensive on metadata extraction and industry classification with hands-on application. Ongoing long-term training occurs during team meetings from week to week.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Excel in and enjoy Research, Organization, and Attention to Detail
 - Have team leadership experience
 - Possess strong English Grammar and Communication skills
 - Have access to the internet and ability to participate in video conferences
 - Be located in US Time Zones (EST - HST) for the sake of being able to attend team meetings regularly
 - Have a preferred degree in Library and Information Science, Digital Asset Management, CMS Management, Knowledge Engineering, Ontology Engineering, or related field
 - Have a minimum of 5 years of Research Experience in Business, Industry, or related field
 - Be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a one-year commitment required
 - Have regular availability throughout the week
 - Have Platform/Database Design experience (a plus, but not required)
