Key Responsibilities

 - Conduct research in areas such as AI/ML Systems and Applications, High Performance Architectures, Digital and Embedded Systems, System Security, Edge and Fog Computing, and emerging computing paradigms
 - Mentor and advise students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals
 - Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to develop and implement innovative research projects and programs
 - Contribute to the college's continuing commitment to diversity, pluralism, and individual differences, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
 
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline by the time of hire
 - Expertise in one or more areas of computer engineering, including AI/ML Systems and Applications, High Performance Architectures, Digital and Embedded Systems, System Security, Edge and Fog Computing, and emerging computing paradigms
 - A strong publication record and potential to establish and conduct sponsored research
 - Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to teach computer engineering core courses and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Postdoctoral research experience or industry experience in computer engineering or a related field
 - A strong record of securing external funding and leading research projects
