Key Responsibilities

As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of Olive Branch, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method^™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need.
• Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions to identify areas for improvement.
• Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes to enhance student learning.
• Maintaining a safe and professional learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of Olive Branch, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and team members.
• An eagerness to learn and be trained on our proprietary Mathnasium Method^™ and teaching practices.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, demonstrated through a math literacy test.
• The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Work authorization and a clear background check.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math.
• A degree in mathematics or education.
• Experience working with students in grades 2nd-12th.

Work Environment and Company Culture

Compensation and Benefits
