We are currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Security Engineer to join our team as a remote work-from-home opportunity. This role will play a critical part in safeguarding our aircraft and network systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our operations. About the Role

The Full Stack Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our aircraft and network systems. This will involve working closely with our IT teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, developing and implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security engineering, with experience in cloud and network protection, as well as a solid understanding of security frameworks and protocols. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the security infrastructure of our aircraft and network systems.
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks, developing and implementing security protocols as needed.
  • Work closely with our IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend updates to our security infrastructure as needed.
  • Perform security testing and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Participate in incident response and crisis management efforts as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud and network protection.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and protocols, including NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS and Azure.
  • Strong programming skills, including Python, Java, and C++.
  • Experience with security testing and penetration testing tools, including Burp Suite and Metasploit.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
  • CISSP or CEH certification.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security platforms, including Google Cloud and IBM Cloud.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and machine learning.
