Job Summary
The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium to high-complexity projects across the project lifecycle, ensuring that business objectives are met, and delivering results that drive value for stakeholders and end-customers. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, Agile development practices, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a skilled communicator who can drive projects forward and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define complex project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline, and execute tasks to achieve project objectives using standard project management techniques and practices.
 - Evaluate project requirements and resources continuously to complete projects on time and within budget, managing risk logs, issues, mitigation strategies, and decisions.
 - Drive testing and acceptance of project results, collaborating with asset managers, colleagues, and vendors to assemble a project team and provide ongoing motivation to drive tasks to completion.
 - Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to leadership, establishing and executing a project communication plan to maintain project alignment.
 - Drive teams and clients toward decision-making, establishing cross-functional partnerships within and outside the Technology Division to drive results.
 - Build relationships to collaborate and leverage influence without power to gather client and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project teams and care groups.
 - Work with development teams to ensure work is done as expected, following standard methodologies for project execution/tracking and budget/schedule tracking.
 - Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
 - Advanced knowledge of project processes, issue management tools, and techniques.
 - Knowledge of Agile development practices and methodologies.
 - Functional knowledge of application impact on operational and business capabilities.
 - Strong facilitation and team leadership skills.
 - Ability to build relationships and influence without power.
 - Skilled in active listening, presenting, and facilitating team and stakeholder meetings.
 - Ability to communicate effectively using all forms of communication.
 - Ability to remain calm under pressure and accurately assess problem situations.
 - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment while guiding teams to meet deadlines.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing large-scale projects or initiatives.
 - Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices.
 - Familiarity with project management tools and software.
 - Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
