As the AVP, Process & Governance, you'll lead the development and oversight of enterprise-wide marketing processes and governance frameworks-ensuring Humana's marketing operations are efficient, compliant, and member-focused. You'll oversee a high-impact team responsible for regulatory governance, compliance capabilities, strategic intake, and operational transformation. Role Responsibilities As a senior leader in Humana's Marketing Operations & Technology organization, you will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of core marketing processes and standards. Enterprise Process & Governance Leadership • Define and lead the enterprise marketing process strategy, including intake for operational & regulatory communications, prioritization, and execution workflows. • Establish governance frameworks that ensure consistency, compliance, and accountability across marketing operations and technology platforms. • Oversee platform governance and operational enablement, including work management tools, documentation systems, and performance dashboards. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight • Lead teams focused on marketing compliance governance, reusable language management, and regulated review and approval processes. • Serve as executive liaison to Legal, CMS, Regulatory Affairs, and Carrier partners. • Ensure audit readiness and proactive risk management across marketing channels and systems. Capabilities & Risk Enablement • Guide product managers responsible for consent & preferences, ADA accessibility, translations, TCPA compliance, and business continuity. • Own enterprise strategy for profile consent and preferences, inclusive communications, and risk documentation. • Champion AI/ML-powered tools for compliance automation and operational intelligence. Strategic Intake & Prioritization • Maintain enterprise-wide visibility into communication volume, timing, and channel mix. • Facilitate prioritization frameworks aligned to enterprise goals and capacity. • Partner with CLM and vertical leads to ensure seamless coordination across regulated, operational and discretionary communications. Efficiency & Transformation Activation • Oversee cost-to-serve tracking, efficiency metrics, and opportunity identification. • Activate cross-functional pilots and improvement programs across Marketing. • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Ops, and MarTech to scale transformation efforts. Team Leadership • Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure Humana's marketing operations are built for scale, speed, and integrity-supporting better health outcomes through better communication. Use your skills to make an impact Use your skills to make an impact Qualifications Required: • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field. • 12+ years of experience in marketing operations, governance, or enterprise process leadership. • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and large-scale transformation initiatives. • Deep understanding of marketing workflows, compliance, and technology platforms. • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and marketing compliance standards. • Strong strategic thinking, operational management, and executive communication skills. Preferred: • Master's degree or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Marketing Operations. • Experience with work management platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Jira, or Asana. • Background in enterprise governance, risk management, or change leadership. • Experience in building and scaling marketing operations in large, matrixed organizations. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $184,800 - $254,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
