The Job - HVAC Technician HVAC Technicians with Portable Air, LLC enjoy the benefits of working outside of hot attics during the summertime. You'll diagnose and repair equipment in our warehouse with a fan to keep you cool and easy access to bathrooms, water, coffee, and a climate-controlled break area with a microwave and refrigerator. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair climate control equipment. • Maintain accurate climate control and inventory records of all climate control resources and equipment. Requirements - HVAC Technician The work location for this position is at the Portable Air, LLC Warehouse and Headquarters. • 5+ years of troubleshooting and repairing climate control equipment is preferred. • 3-5 years of HVAC Technician experience required. • High school diploma or equivalent education. • EPA certification. • Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work. • Honor commitment to a drug-free work environment and pass a federal background check. • Ability to physically stand for long periods, bend, squat, lift 70 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated levels. • Effective communication skills with internal and external clients are required.
