Program Manager, Educational Access and Equity
About the position
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of program delivery, including student learning outcomes, logistics, budgets, record-keeping, and assessment.
• Collaborate with student leadership to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
• Implement assessment plans and report on program outcomes in collaboration with the Associate Director.
• Train, monitor, and assess risk management concerns related to travel, minors, and community engagement.
• Recruit, hire, orient, and advise Dartmouth student leaders and program participants.
• Design and deliver workshops and co-curricular seminars that integrate curricular and experiential learning.
• Facilitate individual and group reflection opportunities to deepen student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Cultivate relationships with students, campus and community partners, staff, and faculty to support program initiatives.
• Create program materials for recruitment and contribute to the Center's communications.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of work experience.
• Celebration of and commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social impact work including nonprofits, educational access, or K-12 education.
• Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships with different stakeholders (students, community partners, staff, etc.).
• Ability to educate about and enforce healthy boundaries when working with minors.
• Experience with event or trip coordination and project management.
• Proficient with computer applications (Word, Excel, Database Management, etc.).

• Exceptional teaching and facilitation skills and the ability to excite, inspire, engage and manage undergraduate students and student groups.
• Knowledge of community-driven experiential learning and the best practices therein.
• Strong self-awareness, interpersonal and collaborative abilities; demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience communicating across multiple stakeholder groups (faculty, community partners, students, parents, administrators, etc.).
