The Principal Provider Recruiter, Network Management is a critical position that will implement recruiter onboarding, training, coaching, strategies and plans for physician and provider recruitment to support all regions. The strategies will impact goals and outcomes related to the Home & Community Services (HCS) business line. The Principal Clinician Recruiter will partner with the Regional Leaders and department leaders to drive goal alignment, impact volumes/revenue targets and provide measures, metrics, and reporting. In this role as Principal Provider Recruiter, Network Management, you will also locate, solicit, and recruit qualified providers for our critical markets. This position is responsible for developing relationships with clinicians by utilizing tools such as cold calling, database sources, internet searches, leads and referrals. The Recruiter builds and maintains a pipeline of qualified providers available for work nationwide. This role will report to our Director of Clinician Recruitment. The Principal Provider Recruiter, Network Management candidate will be skilled and demonstrated in physician and provider recruitment; comprehensive knowledge of medical specialties; sourcing strategies; candidate pipeline development and growth; recruiter onboarding, training and development; and, performance report-outs. What you will do: Under the direction and leadership of the Department Leaders - Partner on the development and implement a strategic approach to onboarding, coaching, training, and developing the recruitment team to meet and exceed individual, team, regional, and company performance goals. Lead the development and continuous improvement of strategic recruitment plans in collaboration with regional leadership; monitor plan efficacy, adapt to market changes, and direct future course of action for critical physician and advanced practice provider vacancies. Drive geography-based strategic initiatives by partnering with Regional Recruitment Leadership, providing expert consultation and innovative solutions. Act as a key contributor to regional and national recruitment strategies by providing deep market intelligence, trend analysis, and insights into emerging developments within physician and provider recruitment. Spearhead the planning and execution of large-audience recruiting meetings, workshops, and training sessions focused on advanced recruitment strategies, talent development, and best practices. Design, create, and curate comprehensive training materials and talent management content to elevate the skills and knowledge of the entire recruitment team. Leverage deep subject matter expertise in W2 clinician employment to effectively communicate the organization's value proposition, address complex inquiries from clinical candidates (Physicians, NPs, PAs) regarding contracts, compensation, and benefits, and serve as a primary mentor and escalation point for other recruiters on these nuances. Architect and implement innovative, multi-channel recruiting strategies to source and attract top-tier talent for high-priority and hard-to-fill clinical roles, utilizing sophisticated search methodologies and market mapping. Champion and facilitate an environment that promotes robust team building, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the recruitment function. Serve as a primary consultant in regular strategy meetings with Network Management leadership, providing data-driven insights, expert advice on talent acquisition, and influencing decision-making. Lead and manage complex, high-impact recruitment-related projects and initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable results (e.g., new market entry staffing, specialty service line expansion). Analyze recruitment metrics, market data, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for process optimization, strategy refinement, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Act as a team lead or subject matter expert for specific markets or clinical specialties, guiding other recruiters, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent high-quality candidate engagement. Proactively identify and implement innovative sourcing techniques, recruitment technologies, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and overall recruitment outcomes. Represent the organization at key national conferences and industry events, not only for lead generation but also to establish a strong employer brand presence and gather competitive intelligence. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 7-12+ years of progressive experience in a healthcare recruiting environment, with a significant focus on directly recruiting physicians, NPs, and PAs. At least 7+ years of experience in a clinical recruiting setting, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of diverse medical specialties, clinician compensation models, and market trends. Proven track record of developing and executing sophisticated, multi-faceted sourcing strategies that yield high-quality candidate pipelines for challenging roles and competitive markets. Demonstrable experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful training and development programs for recruitment teams, fostering skill enhancement and performance improvement. Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. Significant experience leading recruitment projects, driving change management initiatives, and influencing stakeholders at various levels within a complex organization. Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, strategic foresight, and sound judgment in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Excellent executive presence, with superior written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating with and influencing clinical professionals and executive leadership. Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) credential, or equivalent (e.g., FASPR, CMSR), is preferred.. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $165,954.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
