About the position
Responsibilities
• Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Track and manage incoming payments (accounts receivable) and outgoing payments (accounts payable).
• Assist with or manage payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Track the company's income and expenditures.
• Create and send invoices to clients.
• General Ledger experience / Journal entries.
Requirements
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting or a related financial role.
• Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation and financial formulas.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to work with a team and independently.
Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• QuickBooks or other accounting software.
