Instructor (s) of Biology, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, English
Job Description
Counsel Academy requires contract (1099) role for online Instructors on a ongoing basis for Biology (middle and high school), AP Psychology and AP statistics (high school) and English reading and writing (middle and high school). These roles are on call basis, depending on the enrollment of students. The role involves covering the exam syllabus, extensive testing, teaching students to think and approach challenging Math problems critically, teaching effective test taking strategies, assessing student progress, providing feedback through live online sessions. We are looking to onboard one or two online instructors. Candidates MUST be US citizens or green card holders.
Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching the above subjects to middle and high school students
• Ability to teach students to think and approach challenging concepts
• Experience in training high school students for AP exams in Biology, Psychology and Statistics, as per the college board
• Experience in online teaching and virtual classroom management: Google Classroom
• Must be able to independently conduct online classes without any supervision.
• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in the above subjects for middle school students, and Master's degree & above for high school
Preferred Qualifications
• Should be willing to create and lead online contests for students
• Creating quizzes and exam material as per needs
