Remote Internship Human Resources
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. Responsibilities
• Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
• Support employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Participate in employee evaluation processes by collecting feedback and assisting with performance management tasks.
• Help maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data accuracy through data entry and updates.
• Contribute to benefits administration by assisting employees with inquiries related to benefits packages.
• Engage in workforce management activities, including tracking attendance and leave requests under FMLA guidelines.
• Aid in the development of training and development programs for staff members.
• Collaborate on strategic planning initiatives related to organization design and talent management.
• Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
• Assist with social media management for recruitment purposes, promoting job openings and company culture.
• Conduct research on best practices in HR policies, procedures, and employment & labor law compliance.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Familiarity with human capital management principles and practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software such as Workday, ADP, or Paychex is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous administrative experience or internships in HR or related fields is beneficial but not required.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and contributing to team goals is highly valued.
