Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) - Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS OPM modules, with a focus on configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing solutions for manufacturing and production environments.
As an OPM Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions using Oracle OPM modules. You will also be involved in system testing, documentation, and providing end-user training.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle OPM Implementation & Support:
Implement, configure, and support Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) modules (e.g., OPM Costing, OPM Inventory, OPM WIP, OPM Bills of Materials).
Assist with system configuration and work closely with business users to ensure OPM solutions meet organizational requirements.
Analyze business processes and make recommendations for system improvements within Oracle EBS OPM.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline the manufacturing processes using Oracle OPM.
Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
Integration & Customization:
Work with technical teams to customize and integrate Oracle OPM with other Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Inventory, Procurement, and Financials).
Ensure seamless integration between OPM and third-party systems.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Coordinate and execute system testing to ensure quality and correctness of Oracle OPM configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS OPM, providing ongoing support to end-users.
Training & Documentation:
Provide end-user training and develop user manuals and training materials.
Create detailed functional and technical documentation for OPM processes and configurations.
Upgrades and Enhancements:
Stay updated with the latest Oracle EBS OPM releases and implement new features and enhancements.
Assist with system upgrades and provide ongoing maintenance support.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM).
Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, including production planning, inventory, and costing.
Experience with other Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Financials is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in configuring and implementing Oracle OPM modules.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS development tools.
Understanding of system integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP) or related cloud technologies.
Certification in Oracle E-Business Suite (OPM) or related Oracle technologies.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
