Audio Visual/Video Teleconference (AV/VTC) Specialist
About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide Tier I-II technical support for audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot audio/video equipment for VTCs and live events.
• Collaborate with clients to determine AV needs prior to events.
• Transport, set up, and connect AV equipment for live performances.
• Test AV equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Provide technical assistance and training to end users on AV hardware and software.
• Manage Outlook calendar and ticketing system for support requests.
• Document and maintain a knowledge base of VTC processes and guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Handle after-hours on-call support as necessary.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in audio-visual support and systems management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Outlook Email Client.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to document processes and maintain accurate records.
• Experience in a Government/Military environment is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in videography and photography.
• Knowledge of video teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
• Post-production experience including video editing.
