Technical Lead II, Omnichannel, Backend
Description:
• Technical Lead II to join HubSpot's Omnichannel product group, focused on omnichannel platforms to support sales and service use cases, including voice calling, email, SMS, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and other messaging services
• Our team takes an AI-first approach to elevate the communication experience, making it faster, more intuitive, and more productive for HubSpot’s customers
• We value solving complex business problems and optimizing tooling for developers; small teams with ownership and low communication overhead
• We are looking for experienced engineering leaders who can identify and remediate infrastructure problems before they happen and build configurable, extensible systems for future scale
Requirements:
• Strong player/coach who can help us deliver great products, grow autonomous engineers, and build effective teams
• Passion for solving complex business problems with a balance of technology and people
• Ability to articulate a long-term technical vision/mission and define the path for how we get there
• Ability to solve complicated technical problems and analyze tradeoffs between engineering teams and the business users
• Ability to demonstrate calm, rational, pragmatic decision making and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with building reliable systems that can scale 10x
• Experience building configurable, extensible systems that can grow with the changing needs of the business
• Experience with business process communication tools and/or customized CRM implementations is a nice bonus
Benefits:
• The cash compensation range is $191,100 - $305,800 USD annually
