Splunk is looking for a high performing Sr. Manager to join its Treasury team and have an immediate impact. This position reports into the Director of Corporate Finance and Treasury and will support our strategic initiatives across all Treasury verticals including cash planning and management, operations, and technology. Not only will you partner closely with traditional touch points within Finance, you will also partner with the office of the CEO, Sales, and Corporate Strategy groups to plan and support the company’s operational initiatives and organic and inorganic growth opportunities. Candidates will have outstanding partnership and communication skills, handle multiple priorities, possess deep attention to detail, an unrelenting drive to get to the answer, and the ability to thrive in the ambiguity and open space that comes in a fast-growing organization. Candidates will also be required to have mastery of Excel with excellent modeling and data manipulation skills. Responsibilities: • Develop transparent and consistent operational reporting to executive management and the Board of Directors • Evaluate risks related to foreign exchange and interest rate exposure and determine appropriate mitigation strategies • Establish policies, procedures, and process flows for Treasury workstreams in support of Splunk’s strategic goals • Demonstrate high level of ownership while successfully leading through various initiatives and operational workflows with cross-functional teams across the broader Finance organization as well as Sales, Legal, and Security Ops • Effectively manage Splunk’s global cash balances to ensure operating requirements are met and invested cash is maximized by becoming a trusted partner with strategic planning and forecasting functions • Maximize global banking relationships • Manage corporate insurance programs including policy renewals and deal negotiations and structuring • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership on critical business issues Qualifications: • This role is for doers with an extreme level of ownership; those able to get into the details and get the job done while seeing the forest for the trees • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline; MBA and/or professional certification is a plus • 10+ years in progressive experience with a strong preference for those who have developed, implemented, and managed large scale, cross-functional workstreams • Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities with the highest standards of accuracy and precision. Superior forecasting methods and techniques is a plus • Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating complex financial information in an easy to understand format. Able to interact comfortably with the executive management team. • Collaboratively-focused and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and ever changing business. • Outstanding software and system skills (e.g., master proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is a must. Note: Base Pay Range SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area Base Pay Range: $156,000.00 – 214,500.00 per year California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts Base Pay Range: $142,400.00 – 195,800.00 per year All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area. Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 – 178,200.00 per year Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
