Sentence Generator (African Languages) - Remote Opportunity

We're seeking talented native or fluent speakers with excellent writing and creative skills to generate high-quality, natural-sounding sentences in African languages, supporting the development of datasets for machine learning applications. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
Create original sentences in the target language, focusing on agriculture and health domains, with a emphasis on contextual appropriateness, cultural relevance, and grammatical accuracy.
Ensure all content is unique, avoiding repetition and plagiarism, and adhering to sentence length, vocabulary, and structure guidelines provided by the project team.
Collaborate with language coordinators and domain experts to refine sentence generation criteria as needed, and meet daily sentence generation quotas.
- Native proficiency in Somali - Northern Somali (Maxaa Tiri) dialect (mandatory)
Strong writing and grammar skills in the target languages, with familiarity with the relevant cultural context.
Ability to follow detailed linguistic and stylistic guidelines, with a reliable and self-motivated approach, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in linguistic work, content writing, transcription, or translation, with a strong understanding of language nuances and cultural context.
Deliverables
A defined number of unique, domain-specific sentences per milestone, with sentence logs in required file format (e.g., spreadsheet or JSON).
Feedback or notes on linguistic choices, if requested, to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality results.
