Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to American Express card members via phone, email, and chat, addressing inquiries, account management, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver personalized support to ensure a positive customer experience and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist card members with account inquiries, including balance inquiries, transaction disputes, rewards redemption, and general account maintenance.
  • Provide information about American Express products, services, and benefits, and assist card members with application processes as needed.
  • Utilize various systems and tools to access customer account information, process transactions, and update customer records accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate through complex customer inquiries effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
