NIKE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Governance Privacy Lead to join our Data Enablement and Governance (DEG) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and remediating non-compliant data within Nike's operational and analytical data stores. This is a unique opportunity to lead data governance and privacy initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.
About the Role
- Lead data governance and privacy initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify and remediate non-compliant data within Nike's operational and analytical data stores
- Collaborate with project teams to understand, research, determine, document, and communicate data privacy direction
- Analyze metadata for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Identify data owners and help define prioritization, execution, and analysis of BigID scan outputs
- Develop process recommendations to automate and operationalize analysis
- Communicate incremental progress to portfolio and leadership teams using data visualization tools

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical subject area
- 5+ years of experience in data management, governance, quality, and data privacy
- Expert problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience with governance and BI tools, such as Collibra, Informatica, and BigID
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau) for building dashboards
- SQL and programming skills in Python, R, or Excel
- Experience working in multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure and AWS)
- Understanding of Databricks and data warehouses/RDB (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
