Join Our Team:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Analyst - Data Protection to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our Information Assurance program, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the security of our systems.

About the Role:

As a Senior Information Security Analyst - Data Protection, you'll be responsible for: * Regulating information security instruments, including configuration, updating, investigating, testing, and reporting. * Surveying data loss prevention alarms within a target timeframe. * Maintaining information security software update schedules to test and upgrade our technical solutions regularly. * Resolving data loss alarms by implementing remediation measures and defensive controls. * Testing and tuning data identification solutions to minimize false positives. * Developing guides to investigate, test, and implement new features within our toolsets. * Collaborating with different areas of the business to record recognized business processes handling sensitive information and providing best practice recommendations. * Ensuring existing business processes meet information security best practices, approving processes, and proposing security enhancements. * Implementing proposed upgrades to the organization. * Partnering with the business to lead discovery exercises to identify sensitive data, surveying results with information owners, and providing guidance on safely storing that information. * Auditing existing organizational design, architecture, and strategies and evaluating general deployment against best practices. * Assessing and building new information security solutions in accordance with cloud requirements. Operationalizing these solutions to deliver value to the business. * Executing defensive controls in the cloud to ensure the privacy, integrity, and availability of information. * Effectively communicating information security concepts to non-technical business leaders.

What You Need to Succeed:

* At least 3 years of experience working with DLP tools, including a understanding of how data in motion, data at rest, and data in use is monitored. * Strong technical knowledge of secure architectures, system policies, rules, etc. * Experience with planning and automating information security methodologies for cloud environments, including AWS. * Familiarity with structured and unstructured data. * Experience working with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. * Experience managing Cloud Access Security Agent (CASB) solutions. * Experience with delivering and managing data classification solutions. * Experience with managing devices using strategies in Microsoft Intune. * Understanding of regulatory frameworks like PCI and GDPR. * Innovative and adaptable work attitude, with a strong customer-focused disposition. * Consistently prioritizes the security and integrity of self, others, and personal data. * Embraces diverse individuals, thinking, and styles.

What Will Give You an Edge:

* Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or SANS GIAC. * Cloud certifications like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect. * Four-year degree in Information Security, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
