About the Role:
- Sourcing and adding at least 3 qualified technical candidates to our matching pool weekly, including software developers, cyber security experts, systems administrators, database engineers, and network engineers.
- Contributing to weekly submissions and meeting targets set by management.
- Achieving a minimum of 1 candidate hire per month, with a total of 12 hires per year, and ensuring one hire within your first 90 days of employment.
- Participating in daily meetings with other recruiters and management to share best practices and stay aligned with team goals.
- Utilizing creative sourcing approaches, including cold calls, emails, and text messages, to attract top talent and build a robust pipeline of candidates.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of open positions and being able to speak knowledgably about IT roles to potential candidates.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Must live within a commutable distance to Northern, VA for occasional events and meetings.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recruiting experience in IT contracting or IT staffing agency.
- Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful background in sales and exceptional customer service skills.
- Tenacious drive to win and persistence to push beyond adversity to solve challenging problems.
- Demonstrable history of using creative sourcing approaches and expertise in alternative search engines, boolean search strings, and data mining.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to match candidate skills to IT positions and understand government clearances.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work flexible hours to maximize outreach.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Agency recruiting experience and minimum 1-2 years of sourcing/recruiting experience in federal contracting.
- Experience with technical terminology and certifications such as AIRS - Certified Social Sourcing Certification (CSSR), Certified Social Media Certification (CSMR), or Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR).
