We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Autism Care Advocate to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in reviewing medical necessity for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) requests, providing Autism education and resources to parents and caregivers, and collaborating with providers to ensure comprehensive care.

About the Role:

In this telephonic, queue-based position, you will work a structured schedule between 7am - 7pm CST, Monday - Friday. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to ensure valid diagnoses
  • Obtaining clinical information from providers on ABA requests for treatment
  • Determining medical necessity for ABA treatment sessions
  • Managing outpatient cases throughout the entire treatment plan
  • Coordinating benefits and transitions between various areas of care
  • Providing education and resources to parents/caregivers on ABA treatment and benefit plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active, unrestricted clinical mental health license (or equivalent) in your state of residence
  • 2 years of post-licensure experience in a related mental health environment
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents with Autism
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in a Windows environment, including MS Word and Outlook
  • Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously
  • Access to secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace at home

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • ABA certification
  • Managed Care experience
  • Utilization Management experience
  • Experience working in an environment that required coordination of benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients

What We Offer:
