Student Success Coach (Remote) - Empowering Learners to Reach Their Full Potential
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Student Success Coach to join our team at Workwarp. As a Student Success Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering learners to reach their academic, personal, and professional goals. - Academic Coaching: Provide personalized coaching to students to develop effective study strategies, time management, and organizational skills, and help them overcome obstacles that may impede academic success.
- Academic Monitoring/Evaluation: Monitor student progress, develop and implement procedures for coaching intake and services, and analyze data to evaluate the impact of coaching services.
- Administrative: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and team members to deliver support services, refer students to additional resources, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Education, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in an academic setting providing academic support or student development assistance to diverse students.
- Knowledge of various factors that impact academic performance, including social, emotional, cultural, and cognitive factors.
- Experience in conducting educational workshops, seminars, and small group sessions.
- Experience working with tutoring and/or peer-assisted learning programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an academic coach or working with students as an educator or in another capacity to promote student academic success.
- Experience working with graduate students, medical students, or other professional students.
- Familiarity with standardized examinations (e.g., GRE, MAT, NBME Subject examinations, USMLE Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3).
