Airbnb is seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Community Powered Growth to lead our core host growth field team in North America. As a strategic partner, you will oversee the development and execution of regional field strategies across two critical programs: Superhost Ambassadors and Experienced Co-Hosting. - Compensation: Competitive salary ($155,000 - $194,000 USD)
The Impact You'll Make:
As a Manager, Community Powered Growth, you will:
- Develop and execute regional field strategies to drive host growth and engagement
- Oversee a team of Community Growth Managers responsible for supporting and influencing trusted members of the Airbnb Host Community
- Analyze market trends, gaps, and opportunities to localize programs and drive business performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps, establish host needs feedback, and solution design
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Operations, and Insights:
- Assess business needs and establish a framework to design and measure community-powered solutions
- Ensure efficient and effective solution design in the face of ambiguity
People Management:
- Manage a team of Community Growth Managers in North America
- Create a culture of entrepreneurship, growth, and belonging across your team
- Lead through your ability to hire, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team
Outcomes and Impact:
- Drive growth and retention metrics, including new active hosts, new listings under management, incremental earnings growth, and churn metrics
- Own initiative performance and optimize programs to improve outcomes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in people management (with an emphasis on Sales, Community, or Operations Team Management)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, etc.)
- Strategic thinking with a proven ability to own growth OKRs and exceed goals
- Client-facing experience across tech and consumer goods
- Experience with complex and operational programs
- Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
