Job Summary
This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for the general administration of the manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for the team, providing assistance with queries and ensuring seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the time and attendance system, including transferring data to spreadsheets for manual calculations and reporting on hours, overtime, shifts, and absences.
 - Ensure accurate and timely overtime calculations for payroll cutoffs.
 - Monitor and record absences, including holidays, sickness, and other leaves, and maintain accurate records in various systems.
 - Produce weekly and monthly reports for employees and finance, confirming overtime rates.
 - Perform SAP administration tasks, such as creating and maintaining shift patterns, inserting hours, and resolving issues.
 - Administer contractor timesheets and raise purchase requisitions for contract labor.
 - Raising Purchase Order requests for contractors, consumables, training, and other ad hoc needs.
 - Assist shop floor operators with IT issues, including email and annual benefit renewals.
 - Maintain noticeboards and communications/forms, ensuring they are up-to-date.
 - Demonstrate awareness of health and safety procedures and ensure contractors and visitors have received necessary inductions.
 
Essential Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
 - Proven ability in accurate data entry and administration.
 - Excellent communication skills across all levels.
 - Proactive with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
 - Good organizational skills.
 
Desired Skills
- Experience with SAP.
 - Experience working in a busy environment.
