CGI Coordinator

As CGI Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Department Manager to uphold visual standards, manage asset libraries, support team training, and ensure consistent CGI quality across all architectural projects.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge of Twinmotion/Lumion, Revit, and CGI workflows, and a passion for mentoring and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Standards & Quality Control

  • Apply approved CGI benchmarks across live projects

  • Conduct reviews and document quality feedback

  • Coordinate the use of model audits and optimisation tools

2. Libraries & Asset Management

  • Maintain and update CGI material/component libraries

  • Curate visual references and support “Best-of-CGI” collection

3. Content & Systems Development

  • Assist in developing project-specific visual assets

  • Update internal documentation and training materials

  • Monitor render performance and coordinate feedback

4. Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Deliver hands-on coaching and practical workshops

  • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) and training outcome tracking

  • Mentor junior team members and log development milestones

5. Research & Development

  • Test new CGI tools and compile findings

  • Contribute to prototypes to improve efficiency and workflow

6. Technical Support

  • Resolve Tier-2 CGI helpdesk queries

  • Maintain the CGI knowledge base and internal FAQs

7. Collaboration & Project Support

  • Facilitate Revit → CGI workflows with project teams

  • Participate in reviews for visually impactful deliverables

Essential Skills & Criteria
  • Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Visualisation, or related CGI field

  • 3+ years' experience in CGI production

  • Strong knowledge of Twinmotion and/or Lumion, and Revit

  • High visual literacy: lighting, materials, composition

  • Experience implementing and coordinating CGI quality standards

  • Strong communication skills for documentation, mentoring, and feedback

  • Methodical, collaborative, and solutions-oriented

Advantageous Experience
  • Unreal Engine familiarity (Blueprint or World Partition)

  • Python scripting or Datasmith integration

  • Power BI or dashboard tools for tracking and QC reporting

  • Understanding of VR workflows and performance optimisation
