Education Director - Remote Opportunity in Boston, MA
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Education Director to lead the development and implementation of educational programs and projects at Harvard Medical School. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, project management, and leadership, with a focus on medical education and public health. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of education projects, including the development of asynchronous courses, accreditation processes, and grant-required reporting
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including leaders of PGCoE centers, MADPH, CDC, and national public health stakeholders
- Lead the development of an online education portal, including educational software testing, cross-program process management, and in-unit communications
- Manage the development and implementation of a new master's degree program and/or program track, including course/program evaluations and reporting
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote a strong collaborative atmosphere and ensure adherence to grant rules, regulations, and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in medical education or public health education
- Master's degree in genomics, public health, bioinformatics, and medical education preferred, with a Ph.D. degree highly desirable
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in customer service and cultural sensitivity
