Remote IP Scouting Intern - Netflix Content Operations & Innovation
Join the Netflix team and contribute to the discovery and acquisition of intellectual property for adaptation into TV shows and films. As a Remote IP Scouting Intern, you will play a key role in identifying and researching books, articles, podcasts, and other media for potential adaptation. As an intern, you will be part of the Content Operations & Innovation team, working closely with the IP Scouting group to identify and acquire IP for adaptation. Your tasks will include researching and analyzing books and intellectual property, managing administrative tools and databases, and assisting the team in their daily operations. You will also have the opportunity to work on special projects, learn about the purchase and development process for IP, and build relationships with partner groups across the enterprise.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled student with authorization to work in the U.S.A. and an expected graduation date between December 2024 and May/June 2025 (if undergraduate)
 - Passion for TV/movie/pop culture and reading, with knowledge and enthusiasm for at least one area of the IP market (books, podcasts, comic books, graphic novels, webtoons, video games, etc.)
 - Curious about the global IP market, interested in learning about different perspectives, and eager to explore various sides of the market
 - Ability to effectively communicate and express informed opinions on IP you love (and hate!)
 - Collaborative and able to work in an "all hands on deck" environment
 - Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently
 - Able to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion while being aware of sensitive information
 - Commitment to diverse and inclusive storytelling
