Remote Performance Data Analyst - Disney
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Performance Data Analyst to join our team at Disney. As a Performance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in providing analytical support for our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting forecasting, root-cause analysis, and ad-hoc business analysis, as well as providing analytical support to local operations and partners across the division. You will be a self-starter, curious, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about data storytelling, with the ability to handle ambiguity and meet strict timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and own analyses from start to finish
- Build presentations and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
- Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
- Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support multiple applications
- Execute programs critical to the business operation accurately and under strict timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
- Familiarity with forecasting, including traditional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
- Proactive attention to understand the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
- Experience with SQL and R or Python
Nice-to-Haves:
- Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new applications and skills
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/teams
- Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
