Remote Patient Relations Coordinator - Transforming Healthcare Experience

As a Patient Relations Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, addressing concerns, complaints, and feedback. You will utilize your expertise to analyze and resolve issues, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and safety. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, plan sponsors, enrollees, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, document, and resolve patient complaints, feedback, and grievances in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify potential compliance, process, or systemic breakdowns and communicate findings to management
- Collaborate with department leaders, risk management, quality, and compliance to resolve patient issues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and analyze Patient Feedback reports to inform data-driven decisions and drive process improvements
- Provide expert knowledge of appeals processes, resolution, and assessment of appeals status
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- 2+ years of patient-facing healthcare experience
- 1+ year of service recovery experience
- Experience working with electronic medical records and complaint management systems (e.g., EPIC, RLDatix, SalesForce, IDX, Mosaic)
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools
- Ability to work standard business hours in PST zone
