This is a full-time, remote position that offers a competitive salary of $27/hour and the opportunity to work with a leading organization. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for technically reviewing and resolving product and inspection issues, supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and leading alignment activities with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure vendors deliver safe and quality-owned brand products through your expertise in product compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct technical reviews and resolve product and inspection issues
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and lead alignment activities with external partners
- Analyze data and conduct statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
- Validate that all products meet safety and regulatory requirements and Target performance standards
- Drive factory performance through technical support and continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 3+ years of experience in consumer products
- Background in consumer product manufacturing, quality, and technical/engineering perspective
- Knowledge of quality tools RCA/Fishbone/Lean/Six Sigma/Industrial Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative focus and ability to work effectively across functional areas and teams
- Language: fluent in English and local language
- Software knowledge: data analysis and statistical analysis, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Availability to travel 80% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer
- Experience with production quality oversight
- Experience in retail buying activities or support (Purchasing, acquisition, QA, development, etc.)
