Job Summary:
The Patient Services Associate will perform a variety of clerical functions, including registration, appointments, patient care, and medical records. You will be responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of patient information, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience
- Perform registration, appointment scheduling, and medical records functions, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide translation assistance as needed to facilitate patient and provider interactions
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to identify and address workflow issues, conflicts, and areas for improvement
- Participate in site improvement efforts, accepting coverage assignments and contributing to a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare or customer service setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies
- Familiarity with office settings and medical records, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
