We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team, with a strong background in sales, medium/high voltage electrical equipment, and a proven track record of sales growth. About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer to cover the LOT Region, with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and Commercial & Industrial markets. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medium/high voltage electrical equipment, experience working with channel partners, and a demonstrated ability to grow assigned sales territories year-over-year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust inquiry pipeline to drive future quote and booking activity
- Prepare and deliver high-quality quotations to customers, working closely with application engineers
- Achieve order bookings goals by monitoring outstanding quotes and taking necessary actions to enhance hit rates
- Manage sales reps to ensure achievement of their sales goals and provide training and support as needed
- Lead selling and negotiation activities for major opportunities and work with internal Project Managers to ensure open communication and timely resolution of issues
- Define and maintain critical market intelligence and work with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or a technical field
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and Commercial & Industrial markets
- Strong knowledge/experience with medium/high voltage electrical equipment
- Experience working with channel partners and strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated track record of growing assigned sales territories year-over-year and ability to make cold calls
- Ability to travel 40-50% of the time and legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Current residence within the states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas
