We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDA Master Scheduler to join our team in supporting the Space Development Agency (SDA) mission. As a key player in our fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge space-based capabilities and contribute to the development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture.
Position Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for retrieving and consolidating vendor-provided integrated master schedules, coordinating inputs, and developing and maintaining a government-specific IMS. You will identify scheduling conflicts, critical paths, schedule risks, and divergences, and present findings to senior leadership. Your expertise will inform scheduling updates, and you will develop internal briefing materials and external-facing products with high standards and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and consolidate vendor-provided integrated master schedules (IMS)
- Coordinate inputs, develop and maintain a government-specific IMS
- Identify scheduling conflicts, critical paths, schedule risks, and divergences; present findings to Sr. Leadership
- Develop internal briefing material as directed by the government team
- Develop external-facing products (briefings, emails, etc.) with high standards and attention to detail
- Support the Tranche Director and Cell Lead
- Provide general support to the SDA as tasked (coordinate meetings, briefings, etc.)
- Support application product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams (i.e., Government, Military, SETA, FFRDC, UARC, & Industry)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience
- 3+ years developing integrated master schedules with Microsoft Project
- 3+ years Project Management experience
- Hands-on proficiency using presentation development tools, principally PowerPoint
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Creative thinking skills
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced organization
- TS with SCI Eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or relevant technical discipline
- Prior experience supporting space system development or the Department of Defense
