Operations Remote Care Medical Assistant - Remote
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Participate in maintaining a culture consistent with the Service and Behavioral Standards document.
• Coordinate and collaborate with providers, clinical and office staff to address patient needs effectively.
• Accurately record pertinent information in the EHR and ensure timely patient care documentation.
• Accept and return patient phone calls in a timely manner, documenting accurately as per provider direction.
• Assist all TCC departments to ensure effective clinical workflow and quality patient care, including task management and referrals.
• Improve the quality of care through continuing education and self-evaluation of care effectiveness.
• Work in compliance with the Remote Work Agreement and perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
• 2+ years healthcare experience as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or LPN with an active certification or license.
• 1+ years of case management, care coordination, or practice experience.
Nice-to-haves
• Technology experience with multiple EHR systems, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with Athena EHR system is a plus.
• Intermediate computer and telephone skills.
• Proven ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, and patients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment while maintaining quality of work.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and safety, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Excellent customer service skills.
