Music Teachers for In-home and Online Lessons
                                Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate music teachers to provide in-home lessons for music students of all learning types. We are seeking three main styles of teacher: a) adaptive, b) classical, c) hybrid. Our service area currently includes select locations in Queens, NY (see below to view the map and zip codes). Teachers will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education tailored to the unique needs of each student, ranging from behavioral management to classical music preparation.
Responsibilities
• Conduct in-home and online music lessons for students with diverse needs.
• Develop individualized lesson plans that cater to each student's abilities and goals.
• Create environments that meet behavioral needs for students requiring additional support.
• Prepare students for music examinations, focusing on classical music instruction.
• Offer lessons in piano, percussion, vocal, DJ, and any other instruments the teacher is proficient in.
• Ensure timely communication with students' families regarding progress and any related necessary adjustments.
• Liaise with our executive and management teams in an upbeat professional manner and deliver timely communication and paperwork.
• Keep written and digital records of lesson supplies and progress.
Preferred Qualifications
• Clear understanding of music education concepts and techniques.
• Experience in managing behavioral needs for differently abled students.
• Solid classical music background in preparing students for NYSSMA and school-related music programs.
• Reliable transportation; a car is necessary for the position.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying student needs.
• BA or above in a relevant related field preferred, but not required.
Compensation
• Teachers will receive 25% of lesson fees during training periods (durations are performance-based).
• Compensation increases to 35% for the first six months of employment.
• Teachers will earn 40% for the subsequent six months.
• After one year, compensation will be 45% of lesson fees.
• After two years, compensation will be 50% of lesson fees.
