Responsibilities include:  Direct American Express EIRP teams in both the US and UK.  Build an adaptive team with the right people, processes, and technology to excel in internal and external investigations, incident response, and driving mitigation of any associated risks  Collaborate across technology and business departments and influence the direction of incident response decisions with a business/regulatory compliance approach  Ensure incident response plans and procedures are maintained and followed, while driving alignment to applicable compliance laws and regulatory requirements  Confident leading conference calls with large numbers of stakeholders, including C-suite  Mature Key Program Metrics through a reporting strategy and platform that meets business and global market compliance needs  Mentor, encourage, and develop a diverse team with different experience levels to support personal and professional growth  Cultivate an inclusive and growth mindset culture Minimum Qualifications:  Passion for cyber security, incident response, data privacy, governance, risk, and compliance  Authority in incident handling, forensic investigation enablement/management, data privacy, and global cyber regulatory compliance requirements  Theoretical and practical knowledge of Incident Response lifecycles and Incident Handling (NIST, SANS) processes  Ability to convey complex incident response concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical or business knowledge  Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills  After hours issues and on-call responsibilities may be required periodically  Some international travel may be required annually Preferred Qualifications:  Formal external Certifications including, but not limit to: CISM, CISA, CISSP Salary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
