As a Principal Release Train Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Scaled Agile (SAFe) processes for the AT&T Developer Ecosystems organization. Responsibilities include scheduling and running SAFe ceremonies for 9 scrum teams including:
• Quarterly PI Planning
• Weekly ART Sync
• Regular Backlog Refinement meetings with my staff

The Principal Release Train Engineer will act as Product Owner Delegate for Developer Ecosystems for all AT&T application software development platforms. Responsibilities will include:
• Work with my staff to baseline and periodically update product roadmaps for the Developer Ecosystems lines of business
• Align product roadmaps with software development and technology industry standards and trends
• Act as thought leader, leading brainstorming and helping the Product Owner set future direction around the developer platforms
• Help the Product Owner communicate direction upward and outward by helping develop and maintain presentations around the Developer Ecosystems product roadmap

The s Principal Release Train Engineer will help manage campaigns to roll out enhancements to the developer platforms across AT&T. They will leverage the Developer Data and Analytics Platform to measure success. They will assist the Product Owner in regularly measuring and reporting progress up the chain of command and out through the AT&T client business units. They will work closely with the Level Up Program Manager and the Modern Delivery Platform project PMO to align our roadmap priorities with the overall program priorities.

Required Experience:
• 8-10 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
• 8-10 years’ experience Scaled Agile (SAFe)
• 8-10 years’ experience around developer platforms

Desired Education:
• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math or equivalent experience preferred.

Our Principal Release Train Engineer earns between $141,300 - $211,900 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
