About the positionAs an Application Support Consultant at Verizon, you will play a crucial role in supporting Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include managing fallout error support, correction, and reconciliation, while also identifying trends in error fallout to facilitate successful resolutions. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and training, ultimately enhancing the production support team's capabilities. This position requires a blend of technical and business acumen to address end-user issues and improve operational processes.
Responsibilities
 Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability
,
 Work on fallout error support, correction and reconciliation
,
 Identify, own, and drive defect resolution tied to end-user issues or error fallout
,
 Receipt of knowledge transfer, documentation and training from the Quality/Test team on defect fixes, new enhancement or new technology tools in advance of transition to steady-state support
,
 Create and deliver training to end-users as needed
Requirements
 Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
,
 Experience in inventory planning and inventory planning tools
,
 Experience in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG)
,
 Experience in participating on cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions
,
 Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements
,
 Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners / end-users in a simple, understandable manner
,
 Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues
,
 Organized with an ability to manage competing priorities
,
 Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications
